NCFTA and Overwatch Data: A Strategic Partnership to Power Threat Intelligence Awareness with AI-Driven Solutions

Overwatch Data Inc., is supporting the mission of The National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA), a leader in public-private cybercrime investigation and collaboration. Our AI-native intelligence platform now powers an effort to gather intelligence on emerging cyber attacks impacting multiple critical sectors.

Overwatch Data’s AI-powered clustering, filtering, prioritizing, and automated analysis of threat actors act as a force multiplier for CTI analysts. Our semantic search capabilities mitigate alert fatigue from false positives and more clearly categorize the avalanche of cyber threats into actionable workflows. Additionally, Overwatch’s agentic workflows convert recurring tasks like updating TTPs and indicators of compromise of threat actors into automated reports.

“We are thrilled to partner with NCFTA, an organization renowned for its commitment to combating cybercrime. This collaboration underscores our mission to provide actionable intelligence that not only detects threats but also empowers organizations to respond swiftly and effectively,” said Arjun Bisen CEO of Overwatch Data.

“Partnering with Overwatch Data immediately improved the efficiency of our ransomware intel collection and has allowed us to enhance our threat detection capabilities using state-of-the-art AI technology. This strategic alliance is a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to broaden our aperture on the evolving cyber threat landscape and contribute to safeguarding our digital society,” said Matt LaVigna, NCFTA CEO.

The collaboration will initially support detailed reporting on ransomware data leak sites and activity as well as open source coverage on the latest in security research and trending vulnerabilities. The partnership aims to strengthen the collective ability to provide specific awareness across a targeted threat ecosystem, regardless of industry sector. As the partnership matures, Overwatch aims to identify and build other agentic workflows that may further automate NCFTA analysts’ future processes.

Lastly, given NCFTA’s non-profit model focusing on enabling the real-time sharing of information to combat cyber threats, Overwatch also aims to further democratize cyber threat intelligence by releasing Cyber Pulse Threat Intelligence, a free cyber intelligence feed covering the latest in ransomware and data leaks, cybersecurity research, and trending critical vulnerabilities. Cyber Pulse Threat Intelligence brings many disparate sources of valuable cyber threat information into one pane of glass for any threat hunter to use. The free cyber threat intel tool reduces the manual research conducted by many cyber threat hunters when researching the ransomware ecosystem and the latest in cyber security research as well as the most impactful trending vulnerabilities.
